Google Tip
- Meta Data
To some people it is obvious that meta data (key words, and descriptions) are
the main focus of leading search engines such as google. But we feel a large
number of clients still do not under stand how these details are used and where
they are located.
* This Meta Data is found close to the top of the source/code
of each webpage on your website (i.e. often referred to as the back end).
The meta data "description"; is what normally comes up directly under your search
engine listings/results and is what people will read before clicking the Google link to view your website.
The meta data "key words"; are what Google and other search engines will assign
as relevant to your website, and therefore people searching will view listings
based on these key words.
